Square of a number that ends in 5
Square math tricks can be used anytime you have to find square of a number ending in 5. It works with 3 digit number too.
Example:- Find square of 85
Step 1:- Ignore 5 in the units place.
Step 3:- Simply place 25 at the end of the result i.e. 7225
7225 is your Answer.
Example
Square of 135
Step 1:- First multiply 13 with its Successor i.e. 14
13 × 14 = 182
Step 2:- Now add 25 at the end. Your answer is 18225.
Multiplication by 15
If you to have to multiply any number with 15 this trick will help you improve your arithMetic computation speed.
If you want to multiply 67 with 15, here are the steps to follow:-
Step 1: Write 0 at the end of the number . Here we have 67, so multiply by 10 would make it 670.
Step 2: Divide this by 2, so we have 335
Step 3: Now add up the two numbers i.e. 335 + 670 = 1005
Answer 1005
Another example
Step 1: Multiply 98 by 10 = 980
Step 2: Divide it by 2 = 490
Step 3: Now add both the numbers i.e
980 + 490 = 1470
Answer:- 1470.

Age Problems? Now no problem
Facing trouble in solving problems related to age? Here is the vedic method to find the solution of such problems.
Ques:- The ratio of Father and Son at present is 3:1.4 years earlier, the ratio was 4:1
What are the present ages of the son and the father?
Solution:- Father Son present age = x:y
Before T years age = a:b
Then Son's age = y × T (a - b) / difference of cross products (i.e. 3:1 × 4:1 ) and
Father's age = X × T (a - b) / difference of cross products calculate son's age:
Step 1: 1 × 4 (4 - 1) / 4 × 1 - 3 × 1
Step 2: 4 (3) / 4 - 3 = 12 years
Calculate father's age:
Step 3: 3 × 4 ( 4 - 1 ) / 4 × 1 - 3 × 1
Step 4: 12 (3) / 4 - 3 = 36 years
Answer:- Present age of father is 36 years and son is 12 years.

Multiply any number by 12
Sometimes small multiplication also consume a lot of time. Here is a vedic math trick to multiply any 2 digit number by 12 in just few seconds.
We will give you few examples to explain the steps.
Example 1: 12 × 7
1. Always multiply the 1 of 12 by the number we are multiplying so 1× 7 = 7
2. Then multiply 7 by 10 = 70
3. Now multiply 2 of 12 by 7 = 14
4. Add 70 and 14.
Hence 12 × 7 = 84
Example 2:- 24 × 12
1. Multiply 24 × 1 = 24
2. Then multiply 24 by 10 = 240
3. Multiply 24 × 2 = 48
4. Add, 240 + 48 = 288
Answer is 288.

Find cube root
Quick and easy method to find cube root of any two digit number in a few seconds.
To find cube of any two digit number, let's take 12 (3) as example.
Step 1: Find the cube of tens digit (1) 3 = 1
Step 2: The ratio of digits here is 1:2
Now, in same ratio write four digits 1 2 4 8
Step 3: Double the middle digits 2, 4 to get 4, 8
Step 4: Add step 2 and step 3 to get the answer 1728
Working : 123
1 2 4 8
+ 4 8
1 7 2 8
Now with the similar method , the cube of 21 would be
8 4 2 1
+ 8 4
9 2 6 1
